Stopping Power
Last weekend I finally got my ABS and TRACS fixed. The problem, as suspected was the ABS control Unit.
It had to be sent to WA to get rebuilt, basically they just resolder most of the connections and change a few components, its a common problem with the cars even though the original component is a Bosch.
Anyway its good to have the TRACS back and of course the ABS ^^ Gerry from volvo downunder organised it all and actually replaced the unit for me, its a relatively easy to get to so anyone can do this, its the rebuild of the unit that is the complicated part.
Now that I've done that I have the urge to do a few other things and luckily Gerry seems to know everyone in the business of Volvo's. The next thing to do is the exhaust and I've been put onto Lambros who runs hi-tech mufflers, he's given me a couple of quotes and things to think about, I should make a decision in the next couple of weeks and hopefully get something done within the month.
Other things coming up is an upgraded alarm, a body kit that looks something like this beast... full story on it. After all that we'll put in a performance chip. The timing for all this is not known as the 242GT is still the priority!
